Dr. Izzy was born in England and grew up in Hong Kong. After completing her Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2016, she spent a couple years practicing in Sydney's inner western suburbs. In 2018 she moved back home to continue her veterinary career.  

Dr. Izzy has always enjoyed the many aspects of being a general practitioner and has a particular interest in animal behaviour and the human-animal bond; she is currently working on her postgraduate diploma with Edinburgh University to deepen her knowledge and understanding in this area.  

Outside of work, Dr. Izzy enjoys attending aerial dance classes, hiking and spending as much time as she can by the sea. At home she takes care of her adopted cat and two dogs; Loki, Jaffacake, and newest recruit, baby Tia. 

She is fluent in English and can speak a little bit of Cantonese.
