Dr Siobhan Barrett is a South African-trained veterinary surgeon with nine years of experience across small animal practice, referral hospitals, emergency services and government veterinary work.

She graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2016. Her international career has taken her from South Africa to Northern Ireland and England, where she has worked in first-opinion practice, referral-hospital environments and busy out-of-hours emergency services.

Dr Siobhan ’s experience includes diagnostic work-ups, medical case management and routine and emergency soft-tissue surgery. In senior clinical roles, she has also mentored new graduates, supported multidisciplinary teams and helped improve workflow within busy practices.

Comfortable making decisions under pressure, Dr Siobhan places equal importance on clear and compassionate communication—particularly when helping families navigate urgent or complex cases. Her approach is practical, collaborative and centred on providing consistent care for every patient.
