Adam is British and trained at Cambridge University, qualifying in the year 2000. He arrived in Hong Kong in 2002 and has worked in a wide selection of clinics and settings since then, including 13 years at the SPCA, 5 of them spent as the Senior Veterinarian. He has a wide interest in all areas medical and surgical. He has been a guest lecturer and demonstrator in Myanmar on methods of humane dog population control.

Outside of the veterinary field, Adam is an experienced theatre director and actor. He is also a keen hiker who has conquered the peaks of Kinabalu and Kilimanjaro. He lives on Lamma Island with his wife and 2 rescued dogs.
