A Cat Friendly Clinic
We are excited to announce that our clinic has now become a qualified cat-friendly clinic in Hong Kong!
We understand the needs of cats and aim to make visiting a vet clinic a more cat-friendly experience. We have a separate cat waiting area with soft music which helps to reduce the stress. All our staff are qualified professional “cat advocates” who understand the special needs of our feline friends and know how to approach and handle your cat gently and with care. As we are a registered “fear-free” clinic we will provide you with an easy, relaxing veterinary experience.

Most cat owners will tell you that taking their cat to the vet can be an unpleasant experience. The noise, smells and being in an unfamiliar environment, can all add up to a stressful and scary experience for your pet (and you).
At Creature Comforts we understand how cats think and have created our clinic from the ground up with our feline friends in mind.
All of our staff, from the receptionists to the vets, have undertaken internationally recognized education in feline behaviour. Our goal is to make Creature Comforts a happy, welcoming and safe place for all of our feline friends.
As soon as you enter the clinic you will be guided to our 'Cats Only' reception area. No dogs in here! In this secluded part of the hospital, your cat can be placed on the 'Cat Lounge' - a stand for your cat carrier. Cats feel a lot more comfortable being elevated off the ground, where they can observe the surrounding territory and feel in control. If placed on the floor, cats may feel vulnerable and get more anxious while they wait.
For those cats who are a bit nervous, we have 'Feliway' Infused towels to place over the cat carrier. Feliway is a synthetic cat pheromone that has been designed to mimic a cat's natural pheromones, helping to calm cats in stressful situations. We also use Feliway as a diffuser in the waiting room and the consultation rooms. Feliway is completely safe for cats and people, and is not a drug or sedative.
When it's your turn to see the vet you will be guided to our Cat Consult Room. This is a dedicated cat room - no dogs or other pets will be treated in here, meaning there are no scary smells for your cat to react to during the consultation.
Should your cat require a hospital stay, we have a dedicated cat hospital area.
We look forward to meeting you and your feline friends soon, and we think that everybody, cats included, will enjoy the experience.
